Fireplaces

We replaced the existing black surround on this fireplace with granite tiles matching the new granite in the kitchen.  There are new built-ins on either side of the fireplace, as well.

To change this fireplace, we kept the pretty, decorative mantle but installed travertine tiles over the existing red brick.  The travertine matches the kitchen backsplash.  You can also see the new wood floors we installed.

We painted over the existing gray brick of this fireplace with a color that pulls from the colors in the new kitchen and matches the new color scheme of the whole house.
